Dr Mehrnoosh Alian studied Medicine and Surgery at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and graduated with a Doctorate in Medicine.

After completing hospital training she undertook post graduate training in general practice, and attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Mehrnoosh developed a strong interest in skin cancer medicine whilst working in rural centres of Tasmania and NSW and has undertaken additional post-graduate training and qualifications in skin cancer diagnosis and management, including the Master of Medicine Degree in Skin Cancer through the University of Queensland،.

She’s become an accredited skin cancer doctor after getting her Advanced Certificate of Dermatoscopy and Skin Cancer Surgery from Skin cancer college.

Dr Alian has a strong commitment to teaching, both to undergraduates and registrars at her practice and she holds an appointment as Conjoint Senior Lecturer with Western Sydney University.
